NANEO | CHORD is the GVD Mirror to compensate the usually Group Delay Dispersion of all components in the light path of an ultrashortpulse laser cavity by by accordingl negative values. Under these conditions one gets transform limited short pulses according to the laserエs bandwidth.

Compared to other methods of GVD compensation, the use of NANEO | CHORD mirrors results in a compact and robust design for ultrashortpulse lasers with a minimum of optical components in the light path.

It also helps preserving the pulse shape when used as an extracavity beamsteering device.
