The Rees E200 series LSA Comprises a compact remote optical head and a control unit which links to any standard loboratory osciIloscope to provide a real Time display of The laser spectrum.
A scale comprising pulses ot 0.2, 1.0 and 10 nm intervaIs, with a superimposed user selectable cursor pulse is also provided for accurate determination of the centre wavelength (CWL) and the Full Width Half Maximum (FWHM) of the loser Spectrum.

Spectram and ƒΙscale displayed over
800 - 925 nm range, cursor at 820 nm.

Spectrum and ƒΙ scale displayed over
770 -990 nm range, cursor at 790 nm
.
lT'S EASY TO USE
Simply line up the spectrum peak with the LSA cursor pulse and read the laser's CWL from the controller's digtal display. Measurement of the laser's FWHN is just as easy - simply freeze the display using the "HOLD" switch and count the number of ƒΙ scale pulses between FWHM points on The spectrum display. The normally tedious task of checking to see if your laser is properly mode locked, free of Continuous Wave (CW)breakthrough, and opticalIy tuned to produce a train of well formed, broadband pulses is now quickly and easily carried out by using The Rees LSA.
IT'S FOR YOU
The ccmpact optical head can be fitted in the smallest of spaces in your existing optical setup and the real time spectrum display makes interfacing to your optics quick and easy. Within minutes of unpacking the system you can be analysing and tuning your laser spectrum - leaving you more time to get on with the real business of using your laser in the knowledge that it is operating to your specification.

* Thelretical values for "picosecond lasers" calculated asuuming a 2mm dia uniform callimated input beam. Input power requirements for "femtosecond lasers" depends on the natural FWHM of the laser spectrrm but typically will be around 10X higher than specified above. In both cases higher sensitivity(lower input power levels) are achievable by use suitable external focusing optics or a higher input power density.
